There was a gentleman who used to do a music-hall act many, many years ago. His act consisted of him being able to play billiards on his own back! In those days there were many novelty acts and there would be a variety of different acts on the same bill. The main acts would have a longer time but the other acts would perform for just a few minutes. This particular fellow was approached by a booking agent for a tour of America and the agent told him he would be required to perform for 25 minutes. He protested and explained that he could not possibly play billiards on his own back for this length of time. The agent explained that this was what the contract required and that there was a lot of money involved. In the end the gent reluctantly agreed stating "Ok then but there will be an awful lot of walking about"!
